1. Introduction
This Driver Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between EazyBeezy (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and the registered Driver (“Driver”, “you”, or “your”). By registering as a Driver on the EazyBeezy platform, you agree to comply with this Agreement.
2. Independent Contractor Status
The Driver acknowledges and agrees that:
- The Driver is an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, agent, or representative of EazyBeezy.
- Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, joint venture, or partnership relationship.
- The Driver is solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, fuel, vehicle maintenance, licensing, permits, and other business expenses.
3. Driver Eligibility
To remain active on the platform, Drivers must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence.
- Maintain legally required vehicle insurance.
- Operate a roadworthy and legally registered vehicle.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date personal and vehicle information.
- Notify EazyBeezy immediately of any licence suspension, insurance cancellation, or legal issue that may affect their ability to perform deliveries.
4. Driver Responsibilities
Drivers agree to:
- Pick up orders promptly.
- Deliver orders to the correct address.
- Handle all items with reasonable care.
- Follow customer delivery instructions where appropriate.
- Treat customers, sellers, and EazyBeezy staff respectfully.
- Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
- Protect customer privacy and confidential information.
- Never tamper with, consume, or substitute any item in an order.
5. Delivery Standards
Drivers must:
- Verify the correct order before leaving the pickup location.
- Use insulated or suitable bags when required for food or temperature-sensitive products.
- Obtain proof of delivery when requested.
- Report any delivery issues immediately through the EazyBeezy platform.
6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Orders
Drivers are expected to exercise reasonable care while handling deliveries. If an investigation determines that a Driver caused the loss, theft, damage, or mishandling of an order through negligence, recklessness, misconduct, or intentional acts, the Driver shall be fully responsible for the resulting losses. EazyBeezy reserves the right to recover any amounts paid to customers or sellers in relation to such losses, subject to applicable law.
7. Driver Conduct
Drivers must not:
- Drive while impaired by alcohol or drugs.
- Use abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate language.
- Harass customers or sellers.
- Commit fraud or falsify delivery information.
- Share customer information with third parties.
- Use another person’s account.
Violation of these standards may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
8. Payments
Drivers will receive payment according to EazyBeezy’s current payment schedule and compensation policies. EazyBeezy may deduct or withhold amounts where permitted by law to address fraud, duplicate payments, or confirmed damages caused by the Driver.
9. Background Verification
EazyBeezy may require Drivers to undergo identity verification, driver’s licence verification, and, where permitted by law, criminal background checks before or during their participation on the platform. Failure to complete or pass required verification may result in account suspension or termination.
10. Insurance
Drivers are responsible for maintaining all insurance required by applicable law, including vehicle insurance. EazyBeezy does not provide vehicle insurance or personal accident insurance unless expressly stated in writing.
11. Confidentiality
Drivers must keep confidential all non-public information obtained through the platform, including customer names, addresses, phone numbers, order details, and business information. Such information may only be used to complete deliveries.
12. Suspension and Termination
EazyBeezy may suspend or permanently terminate a Driver’s account for reasons including fraud or dishonest conduct, unsafe driving, repeated customer complaints, failure to maintain required licences or insurance, breach of this Agreement, or any conduct that may harm customers, sellers, or the reputation of EazyBeezy.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EazyBeezy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the Driver’s use of the platform.
14. Indemnification
The Driver agrees to indemnify and hold harmless EazyBeezy, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or legal expenses arising from the Driver’s negligence or misconduct, breach of this Agreement, violation of applicable laws, or injury to persons/damage to property caused by the Driver.
15. Changes to This Agreement
EazyBeezy may amend this Agreement at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the platform and become effective upon publication. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
16. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, unless otherwise required by law.

By selecting “I Agree”, creating a Driver account, or accepting delivery requests through the EazyBeezy platform, I confirm that I have read and understood this Driver Agreement, meet all eligibility requirements, will comply with all applicable laws and platform policies, understand that I am an independent contractor, and accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by my negligence or misconduct while performing deliveries.
